Promoting dignity, confidence and opportunity for every girl. Menstruation is a normal part of life, yet many girls and young women continue to face challenges that affect their dignity, confidence, education and participation in community life.
Limited access to menstrual health information, inadequate menstrual products, stigma and misconceptions can create barriers for girls, particularly those living in vulnerable and underserved communities. CHAD works with schools, communities, girls, parents, teachers and partners to promote menstrual health education, menstrual hygiene, dignity and girls empowerment. Our approach combines education, community engagement, practical menstrual health solutions and efforts to create more supportive environments for girls and young women.
OUR GOAL
To improve menstrual health knowledge, dignity and participation among girls and young women while contributing to more supportive communities and schools.
We aim to ensure that menstruation is understood as a normal health issue rather than a source of shame, exclusion or discrimination.
